General Manager – Drive Electric
We are seeking a dynamic General Manager to lead our not-for-profit organisation in accelerating e-mobility uptake in Aotearoa New Zealand.
About Us:
Drive Electric is an apolitical, not-for-profit member organisation dedicated to accelerating the adoption of e-mobility in NZ. We focus on advocacy, education, and connecting our 70+ members to boost the e-mobility ecosystem.
The Role:
As the General Manager, you will:
- Oversee day-to-day operations with support from a volunteer board and experienced events and marketing team
- Manage and grow our membership, advertising, sponsorship, and commercial activities
- Expand our focus into commercial and heavy vehicles
The Ideal Candidate:
- A confident professional: Lead sales, operations, and delivery as the face of Drive Electric
- An all-rounder: Strong in project management, stakeholder relations, with passion for electrifying mobility
- A great communicator: Excellent written and verbal skills, adept at building relationships
- A self-starter with initiative: Hands-on approach to ensure high-performing digital presence
Requirements:
- 4 days week (open to applications for fulltime)
- WFH based in Auckland
- Track record in leading and growing a business, preferably within the e-mobility ecosystem
- Strong business network in NZ
