New Zealand Kwetta is a pioneering Kiwi technology company that specialises in ultra-fast EV charging solutions.
Established in 2021, Kwetta has quickly become a strong player in the industry, providing innovative technology that alleviates the strain on power grids whilst enabling ultra-fast EV charging.
The flagship products include EV chargers capable of delivering 200kW for cars, and Kwetta is expanding into heavy transport with chargers that can deliver megawatt scale charging. The technology is designed with the future in mind, allowing for seamless upgrades to higher kW levels without the need for extensive infrastructure changes; a simple upgrade to the unit and its software ensures scalability and adaptability.
Based in Napier, there are currently 10 sites across New Zealand, and with offices in New Plymouth and Brisbane Kwetta is expanding into Australia and beyond.

PRODUCTS & SERVICES
Kwetta’s charging units are compact. The flagship unit, the Prime, is smaller than a standard car park and capable of charging up to 8 cars simultaneously at 200kW. The modular Prime units, each containing 1.6MW, can be scaled to charge additional vehicles, offering flexibility and efficiency to meet various needs.
The technology also includes built-in intelligent grid software, enhancing the reliability and efficiency of the charging process.
