We are please to announce that Drive Electric will be hosting Christina Bu, the Secretary General of the Norwegian Electric Vehicle (EV) Association.

Christina has been the leader of the Norwegian EV Association for almost 2 years. Before that, she worked as a political advisor at The Norwegian Automobile Federation since 2007, specifically covering new car technology and environmental issues.

Christina holds a Masters in European Studies of Society, Science, and Technology.

The Norwegian EV Association is a NGO and consumer organization that has been fast growing and now has 11 employees and close to 40000 members – EV owners from all over the country. With an EV market share of more than 20%, Norway is leading the way globally in EV uptake. The Norwegian EV Association plays an important role both nationally and internationally when it comes to promoting the shift to electric cars.

Christina will be using her time in NZ to discuss the Norway success story and what we can do to imitate their progress.

An EV Conversation: Learning from Norway

Format: Network with the fellow EV industry members and key stakeholders over drinks and canapes, before learning from international expert, The Secretary General of the Norwegian EV Association Christina Bu, the successes and failures they have experienced with over 70,000 EVs and 20% of the current market share. This presentation is sure to encourage a vibrant Q&A session with Christina and the local EV industry.
