NZ Post has been part of Kiwi life for 170 years, and it continues to evolve to meet the way people send and receive mail today – both physically and digitally – for businesses and everyday consumers.

From its core mail services to a growing suite of digital tools, it remains a vibrant and forward-looking organisation. Importantly, this Kiwi company is also committed to running its own 100% electric light commercial fleet by the end of 2027, and to supporting last-mile delivery partners to make the shift to EVs as well.

By June 2025, 71% of NZ Post’s own light commercial fleet had moved to electric mobility and around 400 fully electric Paxsters are already zipping around Aotearoa delivery mail. This progress has been enabled by a strong internal charging network, with more than 180 charging points across business sites and in employees’ homes.

The organisation is now turning its attention to electrifying its forklifts and motorbikes, continuing to show leadership in cleaner, quieter and more efficient delivery across the country.
