Z Energy

Since its fruition in 2011 Z Energy has been one of Aotearoa New Zealand’s leading energy companies. Created with the idea of a homegrown brand, run by Kiwis, with a “good dollop of attitude” at its core the business developed in 2016 to become the wholesale fuel supplier to the network of Caltex-branded service stations.

As supporters of EV charging since 2016 and having recently opened their first ultra-fast charger at Z Rolleston in the South Island, Z is committed to moving from being a part of the climate change problem to the heart of the solution. As part of this initiative they have teamed up with the EECA to help increase the number of EV charging bays at Z sites around the country.

Taking steps towards a carbon free future, an increased amount of charging bays will be rolled out at several locations around NZ, providing another option to keep their customers moving, regardless of the vehicle they drive or the fuel they need.
