Margarita is an energy policy expert with over two decades of experience in Latin America and the U.S., reducing transport pollution by promoting electric bikes, cars, buses and trucks. She was involved in bringing the first electric transit buses to Bogotá, Colombia, and co-created and co-leads the Community to Advance Finance for Electric School Buses (CAFE).
Margarita is a board member of the Lyttelton Energy Transition Society (LETS) and is part of Women+ of Zero Emission Vehicles (WoZEV) ANZ.
