European Motor Distributors (EMD) was established in 1977 by Sir Colin Giltrap, bringing prestigious European brands to the Aotearoa New Zealand market and creating exciting automotive employment opportunities for Kiwi. Today EMD still remains privately owned by the Giltrap Group, who are importers, retailers and distributors of 18 of the world’s best automotive brands.
