Membership of Drive Electric is open to both companies and individuals who are committed to supporting the uptake of electric vehicles in NZ.
As a member of Drive Electric, you will be at the forefront of the Electric Vehicle movement. You will be part of and can contribute to the conversations and forums which will be driving the uptake of EVs in NZ.
Drive Electric’s board is made up of people across the spectrum of EV industry at the highest level. The board’s refreshed strategy for 2016 and 2017 focuses on value for members through two key pillars under which all of Drive Electric’s activities will fall; Education and Collaboration.
Access to the latest thinking, research and expertise
Drive Electric will prepare and disseminate accurate and commercially useful information about EVs and EV-related topics. You’ll be kept at the forefront as EV technology, infrastructure and policy progresses. You will receive access to expert white papers, and invitations to a variety of events including our EV Conversation events hosted by member organisations, Drive events hosted by car company members, Fleet events and White Paper workshops.
PR and promotion opportunities
By transitioning fleets to EVs, you’re taking a position of leadership in the market. As a member, you’ll be positioned to share this story with media who approach Drive Electric for comment. A listing with your logo on the Drive Electric website will contribute to this exposure. There will also be opportunity to contribute to or sponsor one or more of our white papers and the associated launch events over the coming year.
A voice in key discussions
As a member of Drive Electric, you’ll have an opportunity to influence key legislative and industry discussions. This would extend to associated events, expert white papers and editorials, to which you could contribute. Two of Drive Electric’s board members are also members of the Ministry of Transport’s EV Programme Leadership Group, whose role is to act as a conduit for information sharing between central and local government and industry, and to communicate information and feedback between these parties so that ideas can be tested before they are implemented.
Information and support for transitioning your fleet
As a member, you’ll be part of an ever-growing network of companies who are leading their industries in transitioning to EVs. Connecting with these organisations will give you access to their support, expertise and experiences, which you’ll find invaluable when transitioning your fleet. Drive Electric’s experienced board members are always available to speak personally to members and to facilitate introductions to other members.
